The binned warehouse stops being just balance by location and becomes an operation: receiving appointments, blind counts, putaway tasks, picking in travel-path sequence with FEFO, picking-face replenishment, cycle counting by ABC class and a handheld app with an offline queue. The balance still has a single owner, and every completed task becomes a traceable stock movement.

The receiver checks against the invoice and types what is written there, not what actually arrived.
