Graduation operation · App Highlights

App Highlights: the top of the graduate's home screen belongs to your company

The most viewed spot in the app, that "X days until your graduation", becomes yours. Show the countdown, a carousel of highlights or both together, choose who sees each image (a class, a plan, those who did or didn't purchase an add-on), set how long it stays live and check the preview exactly as the graduate will see it. Each highlight shows how many people viewed it, opened it and tapped the button.

The problem and the fix

The problems App Highlights solves every day

If any of these situations sounds familiar, it is because they happen in almost every graduation company, until the right system comes in.

The problem

The album campaign goes out by email and WhatsApp, and graduates open the app every day without seeing anything about it.

With Partiu Formatura

The highlight takes the top of the home screen, the first place graduates look, with an image, text and a button that leads straight to the action.

The problem

A notice meant for just one class ends up showing to all of them, or to no one.

With Partiu Formatura

Each highlight has its own audience: all classes, one class, a plan, those with an add-on or those who don't have it yet, plus a rule to leave out anyone who shouldn't see it.

The problem

Offering the add-on to those who already bought it causes complaints and looks careless.

With Partiu Formatura

The "didn't purchase the add-on" rule shows the offer only to those who don't have it yet, and the "until the button is tapped" frequency takes it off screen after the action.

The problem

Publishing a notice in the app depends on someone from IT, and nobody knows how it will look.

With Partiu Formatura

The team builds the highlight on the dashboard, sees the preview on the home screen and on tap, and uses "View as graduate" to check what a specific person is seeing.

The problem

The graduation countdown is still there after the date has passed.

With Partiu Formatura

An option hides the countdown once the graduation date passes, and a class can have its own choice for the top, different from the company default.

In practice

Real examples of App Highlights working for you

Everyday situations at graduation companies, from the problem to the result, using the modules on this page.

01

Add-on offer only for those who don't have it yet

The scenario

The company opened sales of the video package and didn't want to bother those who had already bought it.

With the system

The highlight was created with the "didn't purchase the add-on" audience, a button leading to the purchase screen in the app and the "until the graduate taps the button" frequency.

The result

The offer appeared at the top of the home screen only for those it made sense for, and the dashboard showed how many viewed, opened and tapped the button.

02

Medical school class with its own top

The scenario

One class's committee asked for the countdown to stay alone at the top, while the other classes got the carousel.

With the system

The company left the default at "Automatic" and created for that class its own choice: "Graduation countdown only".

The result

Each class now sees the top it agreed on, without one setting getting in the way of another.

03

Deadline notice with a date to come down

The scenario

The ticket exchange deadline ended on a Friday and the notice needed to disappear on its own afterward.

With the system

The highlight was scheduled with a start and end, a "Last days" badge and a button to the support WhatsApp, pinned as always first in the carousel.

The result

The notice stayed in front of everyone during the deadline period and came down right on time, without anyone having to remember to turn it off.
